Mike and Connie Nolan Pride themselves on what Shaw Lake farms has grown into over the years.  As grower of several varieties of plants, specializing in Leather Leaf and Ivy, they both have weathered the ups and downs of a owning and managing a fernery.  It began in 1991 and started with one plant and a vision to build and establish a new way of doing the fern business.  With family values and hard work to guide this couple through the flucuating seasons with yearly threats of freezes and sweltering florida heat, Mike and Connie have proven to themselves and the the market that this farm is here to stay and flourish for years to come.
